We are currently offering the MODEL program for children of prisoners in Lake and Marion Counties. In the last year, each of these counties had almost 1,000 adults sentenced to state or federal prison. Of these, at least two-thirds of them were parents! We are working with area businesses, faith-based groups, community agencies, public schools, and civic organizations to provide responsible mentors for these "children of promise".
