Mentoring

A mentor isn't super-human, but a mentor is a hero.

Get involved by volunteering as a mentor in one of the 2 mentoring programs listed below.

  • Transitions Mentoring: a one-on one community-based mentoring program for children who live in a single parent household. Each youth is matched with a mentor who can provide guidance and support to help each child develop to their fullest potential.

  • Project 18 Mentoring: provides one-on-one mentoring for foster care youth ages 11 to 17. Mentors offer support and guidance as youth transition from foster care to independent living when they turn 18.

Just complete the form below, hit the submit button and we will contact you.

Are you willing to permit CHS to request and review a background check?:

We remain committed to nurturing the positive mentoring relationships between our current mentors and enrolled youth. However, we regret that we are no longer accepting applications or referrals for new mentors or youth for the MODEL Mentoring Program.
