Ocala, FL (September 15, 2009) – Five-year-old Lincoln Debruycker wanted one thing for her birthday. It wasn't the latest Barbie doll, toys or books; rather, it was to have her birthday gifts donated to children who don't have new toys to play with. Lincoln wanted to have her presents donated to the children that Children's Home Society of Florida helps on a daily basis.

Last year, Children's Home Society of Florida's Mid-Florida Division finalized 367 adoptions. Of those 367 adoptions, more than 200 occurred in Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter counties.
