Salutations from the Gulf Coast Division! As one of the largest divisions within Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS), you will see we offer a variety of services from mentoring children with an incarcerated parent to residential group care. While the services provided vary, the one component all of our services have in common is the goal of keeping children safe.
"Embracing Children. Inspiring Lives." At CHS, our dedicated staff and volunteers do this on a daily basis. Whether it's helping a mentee solve a math problem, assisting a family in finding needed services or recruiting families for our foster youth, this is what we do. Last year, more than 5,000 children and families received services within our division.

Embracing Children. Inspiring Lives.
Children's Home Society of Florida has been providing services to the Central and Gulf Coast counties since the 1920s. CHS merged the original Gulf Coast Division with the Rose Keller Division in 1998 to create today's Gulf Coast Division, which serves the nine counties of Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee, Polk, Hardee, Highlands, DeSoto and Sarasota.
The Gulf Coast Division's 300 employees work with more than 5,600 children and families annually by providing a range of services and programs including: emergency residential shelter care and supervision, community-based mentoring, foster care support, child advocacy, child protection team, family visitation center, teen parenting program, and dependency case management.
