Early Head Start

Children don’t come with an instruction manual. We can help.

What is Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Early Head Start Program?
Early Head Start is an amazing home-based program that helps strengthen your parenting skills. We serve pregnant women and families with children ages 0–3 in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.

Our program helps you:
• Prepare for a successful birth of your baby
• Reach family goals for success and independence
• Learn how to provide your child with a healthy and safe learning environment
• Build confidence while learning more about yourself and your community

What will my family receive?

Home visitors help you strengthen parenting skills by spending 90 minutes in your home each week until your child transitions to Head Start at age 3.
• Health and Wellness
A licensed nurse, infant-toddler development specialist and clinician specializing in infant mental health are available to connect you with comprehensive health services.
• Family Time—Group Socializations
