Nearly 20 years ago, I married the love of my life … though we were both young, we were ready to take on the world! For a few years, we relished in being newlyweds but, as we neared our 30s, we began trying to grow our family, eager to share our love with a child.
It didn’t happen as we planned, but I wouldn’t change a thing…
This entire opportunity was one of those things you never think will happen to you. Honestly, when we first heard about it, we were in a daze for a week! We had so many questions, mainly … could this really be true?
There’s one more thing we need to mention … what happened to all of our stuff that didn’t make it back into our made-over home…
There really isn’t enough we can do or say to thank CHS … not only for giving us the opportunity to participate in Designing Spaces of Hope but, more importantly, for all the work CHS has done to help us put our family together.
