PR News names CHS a "Top Place to Work in PR"

Release date: 9/29/2009

PR News selected Children’s Home Society of Florida, headquartered in Winter Park, as one of the “Top Places to Work in PR,” a distinction shared by only 25 companies nationwide and just five nonprofits.

In PR News’ “Top Places to Work in PR” competition, external judges and PR News editors selected winners based on a myriad of criteria, including the organization’s turnover rate, growth opportunities, and employees’ candid descriptions of intangibles that keep them happy and motivated on the job, according to a PR News release.

Children's Home Society of Florida is the only company headquartered in Florida to make the Top 25 list.

“We’re thrilled by this significant honor, as it speaks volumes about our organization and our commitment to staff,” says David A. Bundy, CEO of Children's Home Society of Florida. “We understand that, in order to provide the best service to children and families, we must nurture a positive working environment that challenges all our employees to be their best while providing ample opportunities for professional growth and recognition of their hard work.”

“Top Places to Work in PR” winners will be profiled in a special issue of PR News on Oct. 19, 2009, and will be recognized at the Platinum PR Awards luncheon in New York City Oct. 21, 2009. During the luncheon, PR News will announce the competition’s “Best in Show” – the top place to work in the three categories of agency, corporate department and nonprofit.
